Safe SoulMates
AI Assistant for Event Navigation and Management
Mission
Safe SoulMates fosters community and combats isolation for neurodivergent people and those with learning disabilities by organizing events that encourage friendship, connection, and collaboration. With a mission to provide inclusive, safe spaces for people to engage, Safe SoulMates supports up to 30 events per month across different regions, catering to diverse user preferences.
Problem Statement
Safe SoulMates organizes a wide variety of events with specific attributes such as group size, event focus (e.g., LGBTQ+), and location, which users rely on to find the most relevant events for them. Currently, manually tagging and coding these events takes significant time for the team, and users sometimes struggle to navigate the event listings effectively.
Safe SoulMates aims to create an AI-powered assistant that simplifies both the event search process for users and the event management process for the team. The solution would allow users to find events that match their preferences (e.g., small group, LGBTQ+ focus, location-based) while providing the Safe SoulMates team with an efficient way to tag and update event attributes.
What success looks like
Efficient event navigation
Users can easily find events that suit their preferences (location, group size, event type) through intuitive search powered by AI.
Streamlined event management
Safe SoulMates staff can quickly and easily add events to the calendar, with AI automatically tagging events based on key attributes.
Improved user experience
Participants can better navigate the range of events, leading to increased engagement and a stronger sense of community among users.
Time savings
for staff
Reduced manual workload for the team, allowing them to focus on community-building rather than administrative tasks.
